South Central Alberta (South of Red Deer to Calgary) is relatively sparse for skateparks. Cochrane has an OUTSTANDING concrete park while Crossfield has a small but decent modular park Here's hoping the planned new parks get built in Chestermere and Strathmore!

Construction to start on new Airdire skatepark!

This spring, construction will start on a brand new $900 000 skatepark in Chinook Winds Park. The skatepark will open this fall and skateparktour.ca will add a virtual tour shortly afterwards. Congratulations to the CIty of Aridrie and the Airdrie Extreme Athletics Association for supporting this outstanding facility for young people!
